At this weekend’s Chicago Motor Show, the look of the 2024 pace car for the Chicago Street Race was revealed. Georgia O’Keefe’s Sky above Clouds IV inspired the paint scheme. The 1965 painting, which is displayed at The Art Institute of Chicago, has been adapted for the Toyota Camry.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series will race the road course on July 6th, while the Cup Series tries the Chicago streets for the second time on July 7th.
SHANE VAN GISBERGEN won the inaugural race in his NASCAR debut last year.
The serendipitous sky motif is a favorite of Cielo Ratings.
