Week 5 Podiums

The fifth week of the 2024 extended NASCAR road trip went through Bristol where Denny Hamlin (1943) won the weekend’s feature. Martin Truex Jr. (1993) and Brad Keselowski (1894) finished second and third to Bell in the 2024 FOOD CITY 500. The continued consistent finishes by Truex elevated him to the number one spot on the Top 10 NASCAR Cup Series Driver Ratings.

In Saturday’s 2024 WEATHER GUARD TRUCK RACE, Christian Eckes (1812) captured his 6th Craftsman Truck Series victory. Bell’s ELO rating increased to 1812, ranking him tenth on the Active Craftsman Truck Drivers List.  Kyle Busch (2032) and Zane Smith (1702) improved the Xfinity series ELO driver rating by finishing second and third to Eckes in Bristol. Kyle Busch’s podium finish is overshadowed by Busch climbing back into the ‘king of the mountain’ position on the Truck series as the top-rated driver.

All three Series drivers move to the Circuit of the Americas for next weekend’s races in Austin, Texas.
